Enigmail Roadmap

This is the roadmap for Enigmail until version 2.0. Today, we cannot provide any timeline for the release dates. Instead, the roadmap is feature-driven, i.e. the releases will be made upon the availability of the functionality.

• Make Enigmail more easily usable for new users
• Cache passphrases per key

• Decrypt messages permanently
• Encrypt/decrypt messages in a folder

• Support OpenPGP: mime message headers
• Extend per-recipient rules

• Major code redesign of important components
• Enhance integration of Enigmail into Mozilla (might require changes to Mozilla code)
